Capislow and hair growth

while reading various google results, I came across information on Capislow, which, apparently, an active ingredient in some after-depillation products.

The active in Capislow is Larrea divaricata extract, and the chemical is called nordihydroguaiaretic acid.


After looking up  Larrea divaricata, it appears that the common name for the plant is chapparal, or greasewood, which has been mentioned on other forums before as a hair growth inhibitor.
